# Templates.

## What does the pattern do?

- Helps with the input if writing a prompt would be too complex.

## When should the pattern be used?

- To simplify complex prompts for input.
- Predefined by the system if the main use cases are clear.
- In case users want to create templates themselves.

## Recommendation

- Quality over quantity: It’s better to have fewer but optimised parameters.
- Communicate clearly what the template does, e.g. by showing the generated prompt. This way users can  
    still adapt it.
